History
On October 17, 1953, St. Thomas Junior High building and entire property
were deeded to the Diocese of Madison for use as a central Diocesan high
school. Bishop William P. O'Connor named Sister Remigia as the first
Principal of Beloit Catholic High School. Fr. Foren served as the first
superintendent. 1953 is designated as the founding date of the school and
the first senior class of twenty students graduated on June 3, 1954.
On June 12, 2000, the Diocese of Madison announced they were closing Beloit
Catholic High. The last class graduated from Beloit Catholic High School
on June 11, 2000.
On August 21, 2002, the building which formerly was Beloit Catholic High
School was sold to Ken and Diane Hendricks for $250,000.

Any suggestions about other uses for the web site will be appreciated.
Hopefully reunion news will also be sent to this site.

(E-mail the Webmaster by using the following address. It is not in
e-mail form because of the many viruses that are attacking all web sites.
To e-mail me, the address should be typed: lee winters@ charter.net.
Please remove the space between the lee and winters and after the @ to use the
address.)
Please provide your name, your class and your e-mail address to the
webmaster. Your information will then be added to the Beloit Catholic High
School web. Staff may also want to supply the years they were at
BCH. Parents should include the name of their child that attended BCH.
